Dear Parents and Caregivers
The school holidays have been extended until the 17th of July. When we return from holidays on the 20th of July it is most likely to be to remote and flexible learning. We will confirm this by close of Business 16th of July
IF YOU CAN STAY AT HOME YOU MUST REMAIN AT HOME
If you are an essential worker (You have a letter from your employer that you work cannot be done at home) you will need to register your child’s application to attend using this form and attach the letter from your employer. This will be needed to be done ASAP to ensure we have adequate supervision arrangements.
There are a number of families who have registered with us from the previous remote and flexible learning period. These registrations remain in place and do not have to be re submitted. If you have been previously registered you would have already been contacted by the school to outline provisions for care and supervision made for your child in the week beginning the 13th. ALL SCHOOL GATES WILL BE LOCKED AND STUDENTS MUST ENTER VIA THE FRONT OFFICE.
I know you will all be anxious and it wasn’t easy the last time we all did this, however we will get through this together. Our phones had a meltdown first week of last term as we tried to answer everyone’s questions. So please wherever you can email the school roxburgh.homestead.ps@education.vic.gov.au as we should be able to get to your requests quicker. We may have to use our mobiles to contact you so if you get a call from a private number it will most likely be us trying to make contact. I know we don’t like to answer numbers that show up as private but please answer, it will help save a lot of time for you and for us. I hope you are all safe and well. We are thinking of you all.
Kind regards
Teresa Stone
